Saving Money And Getting What You Want

We're getting into rough times, even worse than they are now.  Everyone better get their finances in order.  Set you priorities.  Get your mortgages paid off as soon as possible.  Get out of debt.  Bad times are coming and you want your roofs over your families heads.  Housing and food and clothing are the top priorities now.  Don't count on the gov't to help you.  Be self sufficient and self reliant.
Don't believe the government.  They will sweet talk you every time just to get your votes, like all Politician's do.
Cut down on buying luxury items, sell some of them if you can.  You are going to need your money.  Have a reliable car.  An important fact.  Don't live above you heads.  You shouldn't take on a mortgage bigger than 1 1/2 pay checks.  You need money for utilities, etc.  This should leave you room to make payments on the principal of the mortgage.  This way you can pay it off early.  Don't take a balloon mortgage either.  Get a fixed mortgage, that's the best kind.
If you are looking to furnish your house.  Take a look in thrift shops like Salvation Army.  There is a good chance you'll find better made furniture there, than in stores.  The price is better too.
I'm not sure, but I think 401k's are going to go bust again.  Another thing don't go in the stock market if you are a lower income family.  It won't pay for you. If I had one I would use it to pay off my home mortgage  & pay the lousy taxes on it.  Lets get Americans back to where they should be, out of debt.  Also read my blog on ways to save money.  Another thing, don't take a long payment plan on a car, unless it is 0% financing.  Car decrease in value fast.  Save and pay cash for a car or buy a good used car.
The government is getting bigger & bigger.  They just keep stealing more of our tax money.  They are greedy.  You don't actually think the politicians care about you and me do you?  They didn't ever care that their own Ambassador got killed in Benghazi.  You better take care of yourselves first.  The gov't doesn't even want to pay their obligations.
Work together with your neighbors and help each other.  That's what we do.
Flipping houses is a good way to make money.  In some area's you can buy houses cheap.  You can paint them, put down new carpeting & turn around and sell them at a good price.  You have to have a little money to do this.  In some places you can buy an old house for $40,000.00 and do a little work on it and turn around and sell it for $70,000.00.  Sometime all it needs is a little paint.
Just don't live beyond your means.  It may take time but it will all come together.  Don't buy a big fancy house if you can't afford it.
Don't expect the jack asses in the government to do anything worth while for you.  It won't happen.
Don't fall into the same trap our government is in.  They can't handle money for anything.
Don't spend a lot of money on make up and nail polish.  Less is more, blush and lipstick is perfect.  Cut your nails short, they are easier to work with.  Fake nails eat away your real nails.
I found a good heater, it's name "Edendpure".  It heats 1000 square feet and cost a $1.00 a day.  This keeps my house heat from kicking on all the time.  It cost $300.00, but it's worth the investment.
Don't waste your money on expensive gyms.  There are free gyms around the country.  Some schools have gym classes, senior citizens organization have them, some communities have them for free, utilize them.
The worse thing you can do is get in debt for college.  Pay as you go.  If you fall in the loan trap you'll be sorry.  If you don't pay the loan back you'll have bad personal credit for years.
Don't invest in gold BACKED stocks.  If you wanted to cash them in for gold you would not get gold.
Don't spend $20,000.00 or $30,000.00 on a big wedding just to be the center of attention for 4 hours.  That money would be better put to use on a nice little starter home.
This is to be continued.
